Senior Vice President Global Markets Product Control - ASP Treasury

We are seeking an experienced senior leader to join our Markets Treasury Product Control team in Manila.

This is a leadership role combining strategic business partnership, Product Control expertise, operating-model ownership and people leadership. The successful candidate will operate as part of the Markets Treasury Product Control senior leadership team and work closely with Hong Kong-based senior managers and senior Treasury stakeholders across APAC.

The role requires someone who can connect Markets Treasury strategy and economics to financial, balance-sheet, risk and control outcomes. The role holder will act as both a trusted business partner and an independent challenger, supporting business decisions while maintaining strong governance and control discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a senior Product Control partner to Markets Treasury business, providing insight and challenge on strategic initiatives, balance-sheet implications, and control matters.
• Translate business priorities into sustainable Product Control delivery roadmaps covering resources, governance, controls, reporting, and capability requirements.
• Lead and evolve the target operating model for the Manila Markets Treasury Product Control function, including roles, hands-offs, service standards, and escalation arrangements.
• Lead the Manila Markets Treasury Product Control Production and Oversight team, with accountability for organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
• Ensure accurate, timely and well-controlled P&L, balance-sheet and financial reporting for the Hong Kong Markets Treasury business.
• Oversee regional Markets Treasury Product Control deliverables for APAC sites outside Hong Kong while maintaining appropriate segregation between production and independent oversight.
• Drive measurable and sustainable improvement across processes, controls, data, reporting, and workflows.

What you will bring

• Significant experience in Product Control, Markets or Treasury Finance, Treasury Control, or a closely related control function.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior Treasury and Finance stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of balance-sheet management, funding, liquidity, transfer pricing, and interest-rate risk management.
• Working knowledge of Treasury products such as bonds, swaps, repos, and money-markets instruments.
• Strong command of P&L, balance-sheet, valuation and financial control processes.
• Demonstrated leadership facing off senior leaders and teams across multiple locations, including organizational/transformation delivery, coaching, and performance management.
• A practical risk and control mindset, with the ability to deliver sustainable remediation and continuous improvement.
