We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Proposition Manager.
This role is in charge of the formulation and implementation of the overall Proposition strategies, to maximize profitability and ensure we meet customers’ expectations and needs with best-in-class products/offerings. This may involve the assessment of current products/services portfolios, enhancements of existing features/benefits, launching of new features/benefits, identification of areas for improvement and the development/implementation of appropriate solutions. Role holder is required to liaise with key stakeholders in IWPB (product teams, Distribution, Client Analytics/D&A, among others) 2LOD (especially RC and LGA), and Region/Group where relevant.
In this role, you will:
- Formulate, review and implement Propositions business strategies to maximize profitability and to ensure our product and services consistently meet customers’ expectations / needs
- Undertake the proper gap analysis of the existing products/services portfolio and customer needs on a regular basis through integration of inputs from external market research and from various departments, including the front line and back office
- Manage the development and rollout of proposition launches/enhancements, ensuring alignment across different local stakeholders
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including product teams (wealth and lending), 2LOD (LGA, RC, et al) MKT, Sales & distribution channels, etc to ensure the successful launch of new initiatives and continuous driving towards commercialization.
- Track relevant performance indicators versus benchmarks, in particular acquisition and portfolio growth
- Arrange the proper project management plans for relevant projects through identifying project members, setting up key milestones and tasks, ensuring proper system UAT where relevant, providing proper communication with related teams, and conducting post implementation analysis.
- Lead and/or support special projects in relation to Premier proposition enhancement
- Ensure support to Sales through sales efficiency initiatives such as providing training before launch of initiatives, or making them part of process or product development and testing for a seamless transfer of knowledge;
- Liaise with key stakeholders including Retail Distribution, Channel, Product teams, Marketing , Compliance and Legal, etc. to facilitate development and implementation of initiatives and projects
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, related field
- Strong knowledge of retail/personal banking products, services and procedures
- Relevant experience on affluent customers with good understanding on the market landscape
- Excellent analytical skill with strong business acumen
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate across various business lines at different levels within the organization.
- Able to build relationships and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, filter information and prioritise multiple demands
- Self-motivated with passion in innovation to deliver incremental value to the business
- Good project management skills
- Good eye for detail
- Must be flexible, customer-centric and have the ability to thrive in a high-volume fast-paced team environment seeking feedback and open to development
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English
- Adept in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel), and comfortable working through and with MI / data
