We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Country Head of Third Party Risk Management.

 

This role - the Country Head of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) - acts as the Outsourcing and Governance Manager for HBAP Philippines. With the critical role that third parties play in our ability to deliver products and services effectively, this role will be responsible for the local execution and continuing enhancement of third-party risk management. This role will ensure that the global TPRM strategy, oversight, and governance are managed, together with ensuring compliance with the local TPRM regulatory requirements.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Leading the Country Third Party Governance Forum or its equivalent forum based on the directive and delegation of the Entity Executive Committee.
  • Governance and oversight on the end to end Third Party management process.
  • Compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements relevant to third party management, governance, and oversight.
  • Point of contact for all outsourcing and insourcing governance requests and process requirements and working closely with Third Party Engagement Managers (TPEMs) and monitoring key risk indicators / metrics.    
  • Provide strategic management and administrative support to the Country COO and Head of Business Risk and Resilience.
  • Governance – ensure appropriate governance is developed, implemented and managed along with robust documentation and supporting management controls.
  • People Strategy – coordination of initiatives to support the People Strategy to enhance staff engagement and internal communication.
  • Service Performance Management – managing any “services” delivered to business, with appropriate benchmarks, metrics and reporting on efficiency, effectiveness and success of those “services”.
  • Deliver Change Execution – manage business or team change, either internally or externally driven, effectively and efficiently, with appropriate stakeholder communication, to ensure the Country COO delivers their required services.
  • Risk Management – support the COO and BRR to manage all risks in line with the group’s Risk Management Framework.
  • Organisational Design – maintain and continually challenge the organisational design with the HR team to ensure it is as simple, effective and efficient as possible.
  • Communications – develop and manage communication plans both within and outside of the Functions (and Regional/Country BRR and GCOO) to ensure internal and external teams have a strong understanding of the Function’s purpose, strategy, deliverables and value.
  • Support the development of policy and process – in line with Global, Region and Country HR, ensuring our people are engaged, well managed and supported.
  • Project and Strategy Execution – develop and implement approaches for Country COO and Head of BRR ensuring strong stakeholder understanding of the purpose and value of the HSBC strategy
