We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager, Wealth Operations.

 

 

Role Purpose

 

The Assistant Manager, Sales Support is responsible for implementing the sales fulfillment process for the various insurance propositions handled by the Branch Referral and Non Branch sales team, to include fulfilling client requirements for underwriting, policy placement and policy delivery, MI reporting and maintenance of client database.

 

 

Principal Accountabilities

 

  • Provide sales support to the Branch Referral and Non Branch sales team. To pre-underwrite application forms and other documents prior to submission to the insurance provider, perform administration of insurance documentation (policies, endorsements, cover notes, claims processes, renewal notices, invoicing…etc.) and prescribe solutions for client and Sales channel requirements
  • Handle all Sales Channel related insurance end-to-end process including MI reports and database. Accountability on the implementation of end to end process, database integrity, analyse and provide in depth MI report to the sales channel.
  • Establish high standards of customer service through effective implementation of procedures and service standards.
  • Improve client retention by meeting all their insurance requirements thereby developing expansion businesses and hitting renewal persistency targets: 90-100%.
  • To maintain high standard of work synergy with the sales and internal customers in ensuring smooth exchanges of client information.
  • Promote a culture of sales, service, operational excellence and compliance.
  • Create initiatives in the over all development, management, control and monitoring of INPH Sales support. This includes review of current procedures and proposed enhancement for a more efficient end to end process.
  • Ensure compliance to established workflow and processes
  • Ensure compliance with all HSBC procedural requirements and internal control standards.
  • Compliance with HSBC Code of Conduct including but not limited to punctuality, positive working attitude (proactiveness), proper discipline, and appropriate personal appearance. Other responsibilities/function as may be required by superiors.
  • To attend and complete satisfactorily all training workshops, product knowledge and skill development seminars/programs which include but not limited to, enrolment in various product knowledge seminars, training, workshops as deemed necessary.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer focused and service oriented
  • 2 to 3 yrs experience in Insurance operations or bank operations
  • Preferably with strong knowledge of insurance products and underwriting processes
  • Proficient in MS excel and reporting tool
  • With experience in MI reporting or data analytics.
  • Team Player
