We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Analytics Manager
The role holder sits in the Data, Analytics & CRM team and will support the analysis and insight of Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) product lines and customer base across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man (CIIOM).
Analytics will include tactical and strategic analyses, predictive modelling/segmentation, statistical / financial models, and optimization. The Role holder will work closely with Regional and Global Analytics teams in order to improve the Business by providing insights which shall be used to make improvements or changes in the processes, product design, pricing, and channel usage. Insight generation will include hypothesis testing, data mining, predictive modelling, and building/using tools which will help optimize the processes (e.g. pricing optimization, channel optimization, lead distribution).
Alignment to the Global and Regional Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) structure is also critical for the role. The role holder will be working with the Global and Regional Analytics teams to drive the Group Data & Analytics strategies.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to the establishment of consistent, best-in-class Analytics, CRM and Data & Information Management capability,
- Support the go-forward data strategy which will enable Advance Analytics & Machine Learning capabilities.
- Develop effective working relationships with WPB stakeholders to scope and define their data and analytics needs and create efficient information management solutions for their needs.
- Manage the timely delivery of output and effectively communicate with all stakeholders
- Gather business requirements, code, test, debug, create documentation, and implement solutions.
- Develop, train, and support other Analysts (onshore & offshore) as required. Review finished projects and work in progress to ensure correctness, accuracy, and adherence to department standards.
- Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Analytics/CRM/Management Information (MI) reporting in a banking environment.
- Experience of using relevant software packages e.g. SAS, R, SQL, Qlik, Google Analytics.
- Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Banking products and services is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of making timely and rational decisions, based on relevant information and experience.
- Planned projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills with experience of sharing information effectively, in a clear, concise and professional manner.
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills.
