We’re seeking an experienced professional to join our Voice Department as a Safeguarding Officer, responsible for customer due diligence for local and international expat customers. The role focuses on protecting the bank while delivering excellent customer service and improving customer outcomes.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of critical due diligence (CDD) processes and support the bank’s financial crime prevention efforts within a collaborative and rewarding environment.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Contact Islands and Expat customers via phone and email to resolve and chase outstanding due diligence queries (including account blocking-related requests)
  • Complete CDD/KYC and transaction monitoring checks accurately and on time, in line with regulations and internal policy
  • Maintain high-quality customer data for ongoing monitoring
  • Manage operational and regulatory risk, escalate unusual activity, and collaborate with other teams
  • Deliver against agreed quality and productivity KPIs and stay up to date with regulatory change

 

What you’ll bring

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership, and commitment to compliance and quality
  • Experience in CDD/KYC or sensitive/complex customer cases is desirable, not essential
