We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of Transformation and Performance

 

 

The Head of Transformation & Performance for CIIOM plays a pivotal role in driving strategic transformation and improving business performance across Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and International Wealth & Personal Banking (IWPB).

 

Success within the role will require the role holder to drive execution delivering value to customers and front-line teams, improve financial performance of the businesses, and uphold robust risk management in compliance with regulatory commitments.

In this role, you will:

 

  • Drive and coordinate implementation of key group strategic programmes, regulatory change programmes as well as simplification and automation initiatives for Global, Regional and Market-level Initiatives in CIIOM.
  • Lead the management of the country Transformation portfolio, including the prioritization of investments and allocation of transformation resources to various change initiatives across CIB Banking and IWPB.
  • Implement agile methodologies through Value Stream implementation and Future State Architecture (FSA), enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of transformation efforts.
  • Design, innovate and lead the CIB / IWPB Change Strategy across Global, Regional and Local change initiatives.
  • Identify and implement initiatives to optimise costs through resource management efficiencies, including effective use of third-party providers.

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Proven background in executive stakeholder management with experience in change execution risk, strategy and governance being essential
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of external environment in addition to possessing a well-established understanding of CIB and IWPB propositions, the financial services landscape, and competitors with an in-depth understanding of CIB and IWPB transformation programmes, and areas of future focus.
  • Experience of operating in an environment of constantly changing priorities, challenging bureaucracy and staying true to the values and strategy of the Group, with well-developed knowledge of operational, non-financial risk and control framework management.
  • Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively, balancing the growth agenda with managing risk.
  • Extensive organisational and planning skills to cope with multiple large-scale responsibilities and outstanding prioritisation and control skills, with ability to critically review and acknowledge when and how to re-prioritise, mitigate, or escalate
