We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of Segments and Propositions WPS

 

This role is responsible for the definition, design and execution of the GPB and Wealth proposition strategy to promote IWS products and services, ownership of sales and suitability policies, monitoring of the sales process efficiency and identification of sales opportunities across the GPB and Wealth client segment in CIIOM.

 

 

A pivotal role in a business area with strong growth plans that will provide exposure to global senior management.

 

 

In this role, you will:

 

 

  • Design the CIIOM Wealth strategy across WPB. Create a differentiated GPB & Wealth brand proposition with clear vision positioning HSBC Wealth as the market leader.
  • Develop and own GPB & Wealth proposition blueprint, which includes use cases, user journey mapping, commercial KPIs, positioning, naming, partnerships, product links etc., as well as the key enablers that underpin its delivery
  • The role will support the execution of the global GPB&W customer propositions and channels strategy through the development and delivery of a transformational frontline people engagement plan and by implementing sustainable tools and best practice to improve people capabilities & experience.
  • The role holder will ensure optimum execution of the plan balancing cost with benefits and achievability within timelines & maintain a consistent standardized governance & footprint between Markets, Region, and Group
  • Working closely with distribution, L&D, digital, management teams & customer channels to ensure effective utilisation of leads generated and tracking outcomes tools: and translate these into tool solutions that are ‘easy to use’, ‘easy to build’, and ‘easy to scale’ to enable them drive momentum & effectiveness.

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Strong financial services Investment/Wealth business and product knowledge with private banking exposure is a must
  • Detailed technical skills with the ability to break down complex situations, spotting trends, inconsistencies, and causal relationships and the ability to communicate these to non-technical specialists
  • Deep understanding of relevant products, segments, pricing and fees for both retail wealth and private banking with demonstrable experience of leading, managing and coaching a team of business partners in a changing commercial environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex matrix environment 
  • Ability to influence and drive prioritisation decisions in addition to being comfortable in an agile environment
