We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Governance & Oversight
The Head of Governance & Oversight is responsible for Leading the governance, risk and oversight framework across the Wealth business, ensuring products, platforms, journeys and change operate within a robust and effective control environment. The role provides senior risk partnership and challenge, with oversight of regulatory and policy adherence, issues, incidents, remediation and risk escalation. As the Wealth proposition and technology landscape evolves, the role ensures appropriate governance and controls are embedded end-to-end while enabling sustainable growth and protecting customer outcomes.

In this role you’ll:
- Lead the Wealth Governance, Risk and Oversight framework across products, platforms and customer journeys.
- Provide effective risk partnership, independent challenge and oversight across the Wealth business.
- Ensure robust governance and control frameworks are embedded throughout the product and change lifecycle.
- Oversee regulatory and policy adherence, risk identification, incidents, issues, remediation and escalation.
- Provide end-to-end governance of significant product, platform and journey change.
- Ensure new and evolving capabilities are implemented with appropriate controls and clear accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement in the Wealth control environment while supporting efficient, consistent and positive customer outcomes
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong financial services and Investment/Wealth business and product knowledge
- Leadership experience
- Stakeholder management
- Detailed technical skills with the ability to break down complex situations, spotting trends, inconsistencies, and causal relationships and the ability to communicate these to non-technical specialists
- Demonstrable experience of leading, managing and coaching a team of business partners in a changing commercial environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex matrix environment
- Ability to influence and drive prioritization decisions.
- Has worked in an agile environment
