We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Client Service Executive, Jersey.

 

This role provides excellent support to Relationship Managers (RM’s) and Private Banking service to existing Clients, Prospective clients, Internal and External Stakeholders and the wider HSBC network.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Input of client payments, validating instructions (and possible payment approval), call backs and “sending on” for processing.
  • Work using both our retail banking and Global Private Banking platforms to service the day-to-day needs of our client base
  • Assist RM’s with new account openings or accounts for restructuring – this includes meeting with new prospects and dealing directly with prospects to obtain information (CDD, SoW etc) to open accounts. This includes using our onboarding platform, Appway.
  • Handle instructions for any securities transactions, which may include input and release.
  • Day to day, general account maintenance / operation.
  • Coordinate customer account changes, account closings, ad hoc statements, performance reports, valuations etc.
  • Completion of periodic reviews and credit reviews with the RM – some direct client contact may be necessary.
  • Assist RM with business development initiatives, possibly identifying prospects, attending / organising events or client attendance at events.
  • Support the team exceed their financial and non-financial targets.

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellent customer & communication skills and ability to engage in effective conversations to build strong connections with our customers.
  • Takes ownership of customer enquires through to resolution and delivers personalised, friendly and efficient service.
  • Experience of dealing with Source of Wealth and/or Customer Due Diligence.
  • Experience of dealing with clients on day-to-day administration for example undertaking call backs to clients for outward payments, resolving client queries.
  • Eagerness to learn, develop and progress.
