We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President Product.

In this role you will:

• Support the Head of Product SEA in the development of the Singapore business and expansion of the investment and product capability of Asset Management in Southeast Asia
• Working with offshore and London based product teams, ensure that all products registered for sale in Singapore meet local regulatory requirements and filing deadlines
• Ensure any updates or changes to registered/recognized funds are filed with the regulators and keep informed all relevant stakeholders within the Singapore and SEA businesses
• Working with the Head of Product SEA and relevant parties such as investments and distribution, contribute to the feasibility, design and due diligence of launching local products for distribution into the local market
• Support the Global and Regional Product team on both global and local initiatives as a member of the Singapore team
• Help manage from a product perspective the integration of new clients and new teams (incl. organic and inorganic projects); this may include working on cross-border and on-shore integration of new teams or product lines, or product platforms
• Ensure product documentation that falls under his/her responsibility is of the highest standard, in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for the Global ranges distributed in Singapore
• Manage any local governance forum to support the business in meeting its oversight and strategic obligations for the firm

To be successful you will need:

• Previous experience in investment management and knowledge of investment strategies & techniques, asset classes and asset management products
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Capacity to engage with various stakeholders and to coordinate complex projects
• Previous experience in Product Development/Product Management is desirable
• Strong analytical skills, with a finance and/or business studies and/or economics background
• Computer literacy (MS Office suite) is required
