Job description
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Technology Business Management.
In this role you will:
- Manage technology budgets, forecasts, expenditure, financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Support investment cases, prioritisation, benefits realisation and cost-efficiency opportunities in partnership with Finance and Procurement.
- Establish effective governance, reporting and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with risk, security, resilience, control and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee technology portfolios, programmes and operational performance through executive dashboards, constructive challenge and issue resolution.
- Support workforce planning, capacity management, organisational design, supplier performance, contracts and third-party risk management.
- Build trusted stakeholder relationships and communicate complex technology, financial and operational matters through clear briefings, presentations and committee materials.
To be successful you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technology, business, finance, management or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in technology management, business management, portfolio management, financial management or a comparable role.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in a complex, regulated or highly controlled organisation.
- Strong understanding of technology operating models, governance, budgets, risk management and delivery practices.
- Experience preparing executive reporting and turning complex information into practical recommendations.
- Demonstrable experience coordinating work across multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
