We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Client Management.
In this role you will:
- Be responsible for profitable growth in the health portfolio in line with top line and bottom-line business targets
- Responsible for underwriting business cases in accordance with established underwriting guidelines to achieve overall portfolio profitability
- Identifying and taking actions to mitigate any insurance risk; Ongoing compliance with external and internal guidelines, and maintaining supporting documentation to satisfy audit requirements
- Prepare new business and renewal quotations within turnaround times; Provide timely and quality responses to internal and external customers.
- Ongoing contribution to developing and refining existing processes, service levels, underwriting guidelines and policy contract wording; Delivering reporting for monitoring of portfolio and service levels
- Coach and mentor 1 or 2 Junior underwriters
- Managing relationships with key international brokers to growth client portfolio
- Developing and executing strategies to grow profitable businesses and retain a healthy health portfolio.
To be successful you will need:
- Relevant experience in the health space and managing brokers
- University degree with relevant insurance papers (HI, M5, M9)
- MS Office application proficiency
- Underwriting skills, Key Account Manager skills, and customer/intermediary relationship management
- Meticulous, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Superior analytical skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and strong business acumen
