We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a VP, Business Financial Crime Risk

 

In this role you will:

  • Support SGH IWPB implementation and delivery of Business Financial Crime Risk (BFCR) management requirements.
  • Lead multiple BFCR initiatives (risk mitigation, projects, data analytics, and reviews).
  • Provide first line financial crime controls subject-matter input on financial crime risk management and the control environment to support delivery.
  • Support execution decisions on financial crime control solutions, escalating issues/risks/dependencies when needed.
  • Oversee end-to-end project phases (testing, simulation, business readiness, implementation) to realise objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and delivering enhancements to processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements while building trusted internal stakeholder relationships.

 

To be successful you will need:

  • University degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Proven leadership experience managing priorities and delivering multiple projects to successful completion.
  • Strong understanding of IWPB business and financial crime risk, operating model, and Group policies/standards.
  • Resource management capability (communication, delegation, and planning) to achieve objectives.
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills; able to manage budgets, timelines, and quality under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Strong written communication and collaboration skills across the Group, with experience delivering large-scale regulatory initiatives (ideally account opening or due diligence within IWPB).
