We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an UHNW Solutions Group Specialist.

 

In this role you will:

  • Transaction origination & client delivery: Identify, structure and execute tailored solutions across public and private markets, including public investments, structured products, hedging/derivatives, financing, private side activities (Structured Financing/ECM/DCM), aligned to client objectives, suitability and risk appetite
  • Front-office partnership: Build strong, day-to-day partnerships with UHNW RMs and ICs to shape client strategies, develop proposals and deliver high-quality client outcomes
  • Cross-platform collaboration: Mobilize product desks and platform stakeholders within the Private Bank to drive UHNW offerings and improve speed-to-market, including streamlining product development and approval processes
  • Group connectivity: Leverage capabilities across Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), Asset Management and other HSBC lines of business, and selected third parties where appropriate, to deliver innovative and scalable bespoke solutions for UHNW clients
  • Commercial discipline & pipeline management: Maintain a robust origination and execution cadence, including pipeline tracking, sales reporting and activity management, with clear prioritization and follow-through
  • Governance & risk management: Help design, implement and continuously improve governance, operational controls and risk processes and frameworks to ensure solutions are delivered responsibly and in line with policies, regulatory expectations and conduct standards

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience: Advanced experience in one or more of 1) Global Markets (sales/structuring/trading), 2) Corporate & Investment Banking (Structured Financing/ECM/DCM/Advisory), 3) Asset Management (alternatives),  4) Investment advisory at a leading private bank or investment bank
  • Commercial mindset: Proven ability to monetize opportunities, drive product enhancements/new solutions and deliver revenue growth with a strong risk culture
  • Structuring capability: Strong technical knowledge across structuring, pricing and solution design; able to translate complex ideas into clear client propositions
  • Client leadership: Strong client engagement and business development skills; confident presenting to senior clients and internal stakeholders
  • Communication & influence: Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence across teams, geographies and control function

 

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
