We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Structured Product Specialist. 

 

In this role you will:

•    Provide structured products advisory and solutioning for Private Banking and Premier clients, translating client objectives into suitable structures with clear risk/return trade-offs.
•    Partner with RMs/ICs/CSEs to originate, price and execute structured products and OTC options across asset classes.
•    Drive end-to-end product development and lifecycle management (idea generation, evaluation, approvals, launch readiness, monitoring and enhancements/retirements).
•    Maintain strong governance and risk discipline across the product lifecycle, ensuring suitability, documentation quality and adherence to regulatory/internal requirements.
•    Deliver timely market insights, trade rationales and internal investment commentaries to support product positioning and distribution.
•    Conduct structured exposure portfolio reviews (performance, scenario analysis, concentrations and lifecycle events) and provide recommendations (where permitted).
•    Ensure high-quality execution and controls, including accurate booking, confirmations, audit trail, and escalation of issues promptly and transparently.
•    Collaborate with Operations/IT and stakeholders to resolve breaks, improve workflow/platform efficiency, and provide training/deal coaching to frontline teams.

 

To be successful you will need:

•    Proven experience in structured products and/or derivatives (sales, advisory, structuring, trading or product management) across asset classes.
•    Strong understanding of product governance, suitability, documentation standards and regulatory requirements for a regulated, client-facing role.
•    Demonstrated ability to translate client objectives into appropriate structures and clearly articulate risk/return trade-offs.
•    Strong market knowledge with ability to provide actionable insights, trade rationales and investment commentary.
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to partner effectively with Frontline, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Operations.
•    High attention to detail and control mindset, with experience ensuring accurate execution, booking and end-to-end process discipline.

 

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
