We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Resilience Risk.

In this role you will:

  • Provide technical advice and support as part of the project lifecycle, ensuring the 1LOD teams understand and are aware of the control environment and assessment of commensurate with the scale and nature of the project itself – specifically in relation to Resilience Risk, Operational Risk and Strategic Execution Risk.
  • Explain in non-technical terms the impact of risks and / or issues associated with the project and that may require changes (for example, to controls, resources or business operations) to remain within respective Risk Appetite.
  • Support the 1LOD to ensure Risk and Control Owners have a clear understanding of the effectiveness of the current and projected control environment associated with the project.
  • Deliver tailored and specific expertise, as well as review and challenge, across the lifecycle of the project, enabling 1LOD to successfully deploy and operate mitigating key controls.
  • Provide technical guidance to support any Enterprise Risk and Regulatory reporting obligations in relation to the project (e.g. Risk Appetite Statements, Top & Emerging Risks, Risk Profile Reporting, Risk Management Meeting, Board reporting where relevant, etc)
  • Ensure the root cause of relevant local operational risk issues associated with the project are fully understood and correctly treated and any concerns with key controls associated with the project and relevant to Resilience Risk are understood and escalated (i.e. within country, to region and/or global) as needed.
  • Lead Singapore regulator and audit engagement pertaining to Resilience Risk as it relates to the project; ensure regulatory compliance for the specialist area/s and timely completion of any self- or Audit-identified actions and findings.
  • Educating stakeholders to understand the impact of emerging risks that require changes to controls, resources and business operations to ensure they remain within appetite

To be successful you will need:

  • Strong leader with the ability to influence at the senior levels of the organisation
  • Strong level of Technology and Cyber Security, Data risk management knowledge, Third Party and Transaction Processing Risk, Operational Risk and Resilience and Change Execution Risk experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the external environment (threat, regulatory, geopolitical, competitor, technological landscapes)
  • Strong relevant experience in Banking or Financial sector.
  • A BA or BS University Degree, plus a professional certificate in one or more RR specialist disciplines, an advantage
