Job description
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Business Risk and Resilence (24 months contract).
In this role you will:
- Partner with Business Continuity Owners to deliver Business Impact Analysis (BIA), continuity planning and testing, and review/challenge Business Continuity Procesess (BCPs) to ensure completeness and adequacy.
- Oversee embedment of the Group business continuity and incident management framework, aligning recovery needs with Real Estate, Third Party and Technology strategies.
- Ensure effective implementation of Major Incident Management (MIM) controls and Major Incident Group (MIG) response, including leading incident training, exercises and invocations.
- Conduct horizon monitoring for threats/incidents impacting Singapore and support threat assessments.
- Support the Head of Business Risk and Resilience and Singapore COO with oversight and Governance of the Global Operational Resilience Programme for Singapore, ensuring adherence to Group framework and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Business Service Owners for Important Business Services (IBSs) to validate IBS identification and dependency mapping, test plausible but severe scenarios, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure adequate BCPs; escalate material issues and cascade Programme enhancements to Singapore stakeholders.
- Assess third-party supplier resilience, drive remediation of control gaps, and act as first point of contact for resilience-related risk and control queries.
- Monitor resilience risk/control indicators; lead regulatory interactions (inspections/submissions); benchmark against peers and adopt industry best practices where feasible; build senior stakeholder/regulator relationships; develop a high-performing team; and lead enterprise-wide projects contributing to Business Risk & Resilence (BRR) objectives/scorecard.
To be successful you will need:
- Proven experience in non-financial risk management experience, with knowledge in incident management, crisis leadership, and executive training, plus deep knowledge of resilience risks and wider NFR domains.
- Strong understanding of global and local operational resilience regulations (including MAS expectations) and the ability to benchmark bank's approach against industry peers.
- Proven track record influencing change and delivering end-to-end implementation to strengthen the control landscape, balancing compliance with business pragmatism.
- Ability to influence and engage senior leaders, regulators, and industry stakeholders with clear executive presence and impactful communication.
- Resilient, accountable leader who embeds risk awareness and ownership across teams and decision-making.
- Collaborative, agile partner able to multi-task effectively across functions, geographies, and fast-paced environments; relevant certification (Business Continuity/Operational Resilience).
