Senior Executive, Finance Operations

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Executive, Finance Operations

In this role you will: 

• Support the monthly financial book close in line with group financial reporting and local regulatory reporting timeline for Finance Operations with principal areas covering distribution and fixed asset-related process.
• Support daily monitoring of batch run from “Distribution Management System” (DMS) and promptly managing any remediation actions of any exemptions.
• Support Distribution team with monthly schedules and aging schedules.
• Support the product development team and system Day2 IT change request activities as the main finance subject matter expert (SME).
• Work with the Distribution function [Distribution Support Services (DSS) and Distribution Performance Management (DPM)] to ensure correct booking align to the production period and insurance fund.
• Support in managing the end user computing (EUC) controls for Finance Operations.
• Commission and Distribution accounts related “Balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation” support to DSS & DPM team.

To be successful you will need: 

• Related working experience in finance operations preferably in Life insurance industry.
• Prior experience in managing insurance commission & distribution cost booking will be and distinct advantage. 
• Ability to adapt to the current General Ledger and policy admin system and operational simplifications using Alteryx , Power BI and AI will be an added advantage.
• Full / Part professional qualification in accounting and finance.
• Degree in accounting and finance.
