Job description
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Relationship Manager (Indonesia Market) - Global Private Banking.
In this role, you will:
- Own and deepen a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) Indonesian clients, acting as their primary banker and trusted partner across their financial needs.
- Provide holistic wealth management advice across investments, credit solutions, wealth structuring, and succession planning, tailored to each client’s personal and business circumstances.
- Lead client relationships end-to-end, coordinating internal specialists (Investment Consultants, Lending, Wealth Planning, Product) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Acquire new client relationships through your network in the Indonesian market, contributing to Assets under Management (AUM) and gross revenue targets.
- Build and manage a disciplined prospect pipeline, converting prospects into long-term banking relationships.
- Drive growth in AUM and gross revenue through proactive client engagement, portfolio construction, and timely product alignment.
- Maintain a balanced commercial approach across revenue generation, risk management, cost efficiency, and client experience.
- Ensure all client activity is conducted in line with regulatory requirements and internal policie
To be successful you will need:
- Advanced experience as a Relationship Manager in Global or International Private Banking, covering the Indonesian market.
- Advanced experience in asset gathering, book growth, and new client acquisition within the Indonesian HNW/UHNW segment.
- Advanced experience in investment advisory across equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and structured products; experience in credit solutions and lending is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of global financial markets and macroeconomic trends, and how they impact Indonesian client portfolios.
- Familiarity with offshore booking centres (for example, Singapore and Hong Kong) and relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with sophisticated clients.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
