We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Business Continuity and Incident Management 

In this role you will: 

  • Coordinate and maintain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework, including governance, policies, roles and responsibilities, risk assessments, business impact analyses, continuity strategies and recovery plans.
  • Maintain a robust local BCM programme, ensuring plans, recovery strategies, contact arrangements and supporting documentation remain current, practical and fit for purpose.
  • Coordinate the organisation’s response to emergencies and crises, ensuring effective escalation, communication, stakeholder coordination and recovery arrangements.
  • Partner with business and functional stakeholders to establish BCM accountability and assess disruption risks across people, premises, technology, data, suppliers, outsourcing arrangements and other third-party dependencies.
  • Design and deliver BCM training, tabletop exercises and simulations aligned to the organisation’s key risks; capture lessons learned and track improvement actions through to completion.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and gap assessments to evaluate the completeness, consistency, effectiveness and regulatory alignment of BCM arrangements.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with the MAS Business Continuity Management Guidelines, including evidence collection, remediation tracking, governance reporting and regulatory readiness activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in organisational resilience using insights from exercises, assurance reviews, regulatory developments, disruption events and stakeholder feedback.

 To be successful you will need:  

  • Demonstrable experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM), operational resilience or a related risk and resilience discipline, including practical knowledge of incident, emergency and crisis response.
  • Experience implementing, maintaining or enhancing BCM frameworks and programmes, covering governance, policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of the BCM lifecycle, including business impact and risk assessments, critical business services, recovery objectives, continuity strategies, plan development, exercising and lessons learned.
  • Experience designing and delivering BCM training and facilitating tabletop, scenario-based and simulation exercises, including developing realistic scenarios, documenting outcomes and tracking remediation actions to closure.
  • Experience in risk and control management, including control design and testing, quality assurance, issue identification, evidence collection and monitoring remediation effectiveness; knowledge of the MAS Business Continuity Management Guidelines is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear governance reporting, translate complex risks into practical actions, manage competing priorities and work effectively with senior stakeholders and external parties in a regulated environment. Professional certification and relevant financial services experience are advantageous; applicants must have the right to work in Singapore.
