As GTS ICG Senior Sales Manager in Singapore you’ll grow Trade Finance revenue across Banks, Sponsors , Public Sector, Insurance and Funds. The role focuses on expanding wallet share and winning new mandates including complex deals with existing and NTB/NTT clients. You’ll execute our ICG strategy by positioning HSBC as a thought leader with sophisticated clients and by delivering a best-in-class client experience for strategic and sensitive relationships. Success will mean building a strong pipeline, converting opportunities into sustainable revenue growth and strengthening relationships at senior executive level. You’ll also help build capability across the ICG sales and service team through coaching and knowledge sharing.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a GTS ICG Senior Sales Manager.
In this role you will:
- Deliver ambitious revenue targets aligned to the ambition to double revenue by 2028
- Build effective wallet plans and proactively source new business across Public Sector, Government Related Entities, Insurance and Funds
- Originate, structure and close new customer mandates and complex deals with existing and NTB/NTT clients
- Execute the ICG strategy by positioning HSBC as a thought leader with sophisticated clients
- Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes to deliver a best-in-class client experience for strategic and sensitive relationships
- Own accountability for key strategic relationships and influence outcomes with senior executives
- Coach and mentor ICG sales and service colleagues on industry and regulatory knowledge
- Shape commercial priorities across Insurance ambition, distribution and returns, FI trade digitisation and ESG framework for the PS and ICG segment
To be successful you will need:
- Bring a strong Trade Finance sales track record with proven origination, structuring and closing capability that delivers revenue growth
- Demonstrate an established client network and experience executing Trade Finance transactions for Institutional Clients including Banks, NBFIs, Insurance and Public Sector organizations
- Offer significant solutioning and structuring experience across Trade Finance and Working Capital Management translating client needs into scalable risk-aligned solutions
- Apply deep product knowledge across Trade Finance including understanding product risk profiles and acting as deal owner with clients and internal stakeholders
