We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Director - Liquidity Commercialisation
The role is to be responsible for the development and execution of liquidity product propositions to enhance HSBC’s market share and profile as a prominent liquidity management player in Singapore and regionally. The role is focused on domestic Singapore (SG) and regionally Asia Pacific (ASP) integrated liquidity and investment solutions, which requires close collaboration with other Liquidity team members and across Global Payments Solutions (GPS) to ensure consistent and comprehensive positioning of our approach in the market.
To be successful in the role, the job holder must have commercial acumen and the interpersonal skills to develop relationships with GPS Sales and Corporate Banking (CIB) Relationship Managers (RMs) in order to develop market-driven solutions. The role will also be responsible for Singapore and regional ASP market reviews and analysis, client segmentation and other initiatives aimed at developing new and profitable business.
In this role you will :
- Own the development and execution of HSBC liquidity product propositions to grow market share and strengthen market profile.
- Position HSBC as a leading liquidity management player in Singapore and across the Asia Pacific region.
- Focus on integrated liquidity and investment solutions for domestic SG and regional ASP clients.
- Partner closely with Liquidity team colleagues to shape and deliver the proposition.
- Collaborate across Global Payments Solutions (GPS) to ensure consistent, end-to-end market positioning.
- Build strong working relationships with GPS Sales and Corporate Banking (CIB) Relationship Managers to drive solution adoption.
- Apply commercial acumen to design market-driven, client-relevant solutions.
- Lead market reviews and analysis, client segmentation, and growth initiatives to generate new, profitable business in SG and ASP.
To be successful you will need:
- Experience in client-facing banking roles (e.g., corporate banking relationship management or sales) with Proven ability to build and manage complex solutions and relationships with significant customers
- Strong product knowledge in cash management, including liquidity management (cash pooling) & Exposure to investment products such as deposits and money market funds.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly to varied audiences
- Strong stakeholder networking across business areas, plus familiarity with product management methodologies to deliver development plans.
- Mandarin speaker to facilitate business and conversations with Chinese Clients.
- Preferably Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) license holder (if not, the candidate will need to qualify during their probation period)
