We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Global Liquidity Sales, South East Asia.

In this role you will:

  • Design and implement a Liquidity sales strategy to the market segments and opportunities described above
  • Develop long-term relationships and partnerships with key clients with a focus on increasing wallet over time
  • Create profitable AUM growth through consulting with new clients to solve their investable cash problems through the full range of HSBC’s Global Liquidity capability range
  • Represent the Global Liquidity business in internal senior management reports and forums, as well as external conferences
  • Spearhead key account planning exercises including assisting with setting and implementing strategies for key clients with global team, logging of call reports etc
  • Is aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations
  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
  • Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Industry experience, either in Asset Management, Global Markets, or a Corporate Banking or Corporate Treasury or Cash Management/Treasury Services sales and sales management role with a proven track record
  • Exposure to and good understanding of treasury/cash/short-term investment management products.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentational skills.
  • Highly organized and motivated to make a commercial impact
  • Ability to work effectively across other groups, global regions and lines of business.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
