We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Credit Admin - Private Banking
In this role you will:
- Lead the preparation, review, processing and execution of facility letters, security documentation and related credit documents in accordance with approved credit applications, internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines and legal requirements
- Timely follow up on documentation status and proactively manage turnaround timelines to support business & growth
- Maintenance of credit limits/static data in systems including quarterly cash surrender values, fire insurance policies and documentation safekeeping, completeness and timely perfection of securities
- Review and process the issuance for Bank Guarantee/Standby Letter of Credit - issuance, amendment, cancellation and claims
- Prepare periodic management and regulatory reports and support audit reviews
- Provide support to Credit Admin and documentation related tasks and/or User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
To be successful you will need:
- Degree or Diploma in Banking, Finance, Business, Law or related discipline
- Advanced experience in Private Banking credit documentation with a strong knowledge in property, insurance and structured deals
- Hands-on experience in processing and reviewing Bank Guarantee and Standby Letter of Credit
- Independent worker, meticulous and able to work under tight timelines
- Team player - ability to work well within the team and work collaboratively across the wider business and functions
- Possess good written, interpersonal, communication and organization skills and proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Acess etc
