We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Analyst, Infrastructure Finance.

In this role you will:

• Develop a deep understanding of applicable sectors and products, providing coverage and execution services to HSBC’s infrastructure clients
• Oversee and assist in the preparation and negotiation of key financial and project-related documents, including internal documents like credit memos
• Build and maintain complex project finance models as well as perform cash flow forecasting and scenario/ sensitivity analysis
• Review, understand and summarise due diligence materials as well as the underlying legal documentation for loan facilities
• Help the creation of marketing materials such as pitch books, proposals, teaser documents, and information memoranda
• Conduct thorough industry and company-specific research
• Coordinate and collaborate with other internal stakeholders and business units across regions within the bank

To be successful you will need:

• Tertiary qualification from a reputable university, preferably in a relevant discipline. A post-graduate degree or CFA is an advantage
• Strong deal execution experience in the global Infrastructure/Project Finance market, ideally with relevant experience; Exposure to domestic and cross-border infrastructure advisory and financing transactions
• In-depth understanding of financial markets, including credit analysis, rating methodologies, and credit metrics
• Proficiency in financial modelling including operational model, accounting, debt facilities, credit metrics and valuation analysis.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with a strong commercial orientation across various debt products, including loans, bonds, and derivatives
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively; Ability to digest and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner to both internal and external stakeholders
