We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior GPS Sales Manager.

 

 

Principal responsibilities

The job holder plays the role as senior representative of GPS in the GBA region to conduct and coordinate various kinds of activities, initiatives, campaigns and etc. to foster highly productive partnerships with customers and internal parties.

The position holder is accountable for the overall GPS business portfolio and KPIs in the region, in particular, aggressively driving and managing the region’s pipeline momentum while leading other sales in the region to collectively achieve EBV and TOI targets.

  • Execute the top-down GPS strategic agenda in designated region by developing and implementing effective sales plan.
  • Provide regular product /successful story sharing to partners for business replication, while taking the lead in driving specific business initiative in the region.
  • Drive the commercialization of GPS solutions products and services to maximize GPS operating account base in the region.
  • Ensure good understanding of client’s business, industries and client’s treasury management structure, decision making chain as well as GPS needs.
  • Proactively promote GPS business propositions in the region by active and effective engagement with client’s treasury function.
  • Develop and maintain high-level engagement & collaboration with internal stakeholders (for example, BU partners) to develop effective account plan (on client-level) to maximize the penetration of GPS business to ETB and NTB client portfolios in the region.
  • Provide sufficient coaching to junior sales by active involvement in their daily sales interaction with clients as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Foster a high level of teamwork spirit to ensure a harmonious and efficient working environment in the region.
  • Seamless collaborations with Product/IM/CSM in the region.
  • Lead the sales team to work closely with HASE GPS/RM to drive x-border business.
  • Closely monitor the region’s GPS business portfolio and take necessary action as well as initiatives to respond to unfavorable movements.
  • Closely track the execution progress of GPS strategies and sales team’s overall performance in the region by proper measures.
  • Ensure effective communications with back offices/DBS and CSM.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • With min 10+ years’ experience in Commercial Banking Business with sound commercial judgment and understanding Financial Crime Compliance
  • Experience in leading and managing a revenue generating team is required
  • Be familiar and adhere to government rules and local regulations, without criminal/adverse record;
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin
