We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

 

In this role, you will:

To maximize the revenues of customer portfolio and increase the Bank's share of customers wallets.


To maintain a high level of credit quality in the jobholder's customer portfolio and to mitigate the hidden risks of the evolving Banking products. 


To build effective customer relationships and to become the customers' preferred financial partner and trusted advisor. 


To coordinate the CST to ensure the clients' needs are covered in a proactive and efficient manner.


To support Banking management in operational and strategic issues. 


To be conversant with the global/local economies and able to respond to business opportunity faster than the Bank's competitors. 


To be capable of discussing confidently and professionally with clients, a wide range of bank products which cover capital market, derivative products, M&A, global cash management, structured trade finance, insurance and asset management, etc.


To be able to reach a balance in supporting development of customer relationship overseas and in protecting the local office's interests in terms of profit and credit quality. 


To keep abreast of the trend and development of the sector/industries. 


To preserve HSBC's reputation by strictly complying with the increasingly stringent external regulatory requirements. 


The jobholder has to be able to detect and interpret correctly business trends, market signals, new policies, regulation and practices, and their impact on business. He/she needs to respond accordingly with suitable recommendations on the adjustment in our business strategies. All round banking knowledge, clear analytical mind and reasonable value judgement are required to evaluate credit risks while lateral thinking, strong product knowledge and good problem solving skills are required to structure or cross sell suitable financing products. Strong communication and coordination skills are also required to ensure that different business units within the Group will strive to achieve shared business objectives.

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Good knowledge of the client and the market / industry in which it (and the Bank) operates; 


Proven track record of the ability to drive new business initiatives by pulling in the Bank's resources effectively;


Good portfolio management skills and good knowledge of HSBC Group products, and an established network of CST contacts across all business lines;


Good understanding of risk management and risk mitigation; and 

Good command of problem solving, (verbal and written) presentation skill and leadership skill.
