We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Branch Compliance Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Maintain good work relationship with regulators and being able to engage and communicate effectively with regulators as required.
• Support Regional Head of Branch Compliance to supervise and coordinate execution of regulations and regulatory requirements applicable to the Branch.
• Support to provide first line advice, reporting exceptions, carrying out compliance monitoring and mitigation programs and engaging regulators in clarification of regulatory requirements.
• Support to handle regulatory matters including on-site inspections, meetings, visits, surveys, administrative approvals, product filings, policy imperatives, banking association affairs, and etc. 

Qualifications: 

• 5 years’ relevant working experience in foreign banks  is perferred
• Sound knowledge of the regulations of PBOC, NFRA and SAFE  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills  
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with good knowledge of PC application software
• Maintain good work relationship with regulators and provide compliance advice to branch management and staff
