Job Description

 

Hands-on technical leader who understands the Chinese securities markets, related customer journey, product lifecycle and IT applications, able to lead and coordinate IT deliveries/projects/incidents and serve as the primary technical advisor to IT and business stakeholders. Drive DevOps adoption, nurture junior members and promote continuous service improvement.

 

  • Deliver IT projects within agreed budget, e.g. onboard / demise IT Service or introducing new features to existing platforms
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure IT Services meet their expectations.
  • Critically assess business requirements, solutions provided by vendors and make technical/architectural solutions / recommendations / decisions
  • Lead and mentor the team, drive efficient deliveries, understand and know how to meet local regulatory and group requirements, develop necessary technical and communication skills.
  • Ensure IT services meet stability/resilience requirements, security standards and other local regulatory or group requirements/standards

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology related disciplines
  • 5-10+ years of experience in technology space focusing on one or more of application areas, e.g. developer, production support, business analyst, technical project manager etc.
  • As required by the Chinese regulator CSRC, the role holder must pass the securities industry qualification exam.

 

Language capability:

  • Good written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English

 

Experience

  • Solid experience or knowledge of Chinese securities market.
  • Experience in managing products of key local vendors that server the Chinese securities market
  • Proven records in delivering application changes and handle/manage application incidents
  • Advantage if have experience of managing large scale projects.
