We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of iOS Developer.
The iOS Engineering role takes responsibility for delivery and consultancy IT projects. The job holder contributes in successful delivery of projects by providing technical / application guidance to project teams and providing guidance to multiple project teams. The responsibilities entail areas such as conducting feasibility studies, requirement analysis, design and development, technology update, knowledge sharing, as well as coding. The iOS Engineering role should be aligned with group standards, IT and business strategy, meet business objectives and satisfy all relevant regulatory, architecture standards and operational risk.

In this role you will:
• Develop new user-facing features for iOS
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Coordinate with various teams working on distinct layers
• Conduct system test, user acceptance test and provide support on system implementation.
• Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to latest industry standards and best practices
• Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies strictly followed
• Reduce technical risk / debt in solution proposal, system design and implementation
• Provide technical and domain consultancy and support
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Experience in working in an agile and DevOps environment.
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C with understanding of iOS framework and libraries.
• Experience in iOS development tools such as Xcode, CocoaPods, and Git.
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, design pattern and best practices.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs, JSON, network framework and third party library integration.
• Experience in handling performance optimisation, memory management and app security.
• Good to have knowledge about testing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of mobile app development life cycle.
• Hand on experience on Version Control Systems & collaborative development tool.
This role is based in Sheffield .
