The Technical Product Owner role will form part of CSA’s Advanced Projects team, joining a global team of cybersecurity specialists, data scientists, and software engineers from diverse backgrounds to deliver critical analytics engineering requirements for Cybersecurity teams.
The position is a senior role, requiring product management knowledge within the areas of data engineering, data science, advanced analytics techniques, research and development, or innovation, ideally within one or more of the Cybersecurity sciences (e.g. network, endpoint and cloud security, cryptography, malware analysis, vulnerability assessment, privileged access management, anomaly/intrusion detection, incident response, or offensive security).
The Technical Product Owner a critical technical role, will be responsible for delivering value to our clients by managing your own product backlog. You will work within an Agile Scrum team, understanding the roles, needs, pressures, and measures of success for our internal customers to identify how creative analytics products can help them achieve their goals.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical product management background, an eagerness to learn, a keen interest in Cybersecurity, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and an aptitude for picking up new tools and techniques on the job, building on existing skillsets as a foundation.

In this role you will:
- Responsible for delivering value to our clients by managing product backlog and managing any risks,blockers,issues,assumptions or dependencies as required.
- Lead delivery of product development / project workstreams, adopting the Agile delivery lifecycle.
- Delivering critical analytics engineering requirements across Cybersecurity.
- Work with the team to effectively manage the product development backlog against clear priorities.
- Developing new data products, analysis platforms, and custom AI solutions to enable Cybersecurity teams to monitor controls more effectively,
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Product management knowledge within the areas of data engineering, data science, advanced analytics techniques, research and development, or innovation
- Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and product management principles.
- Experience with successfully implementing production technology products.
- Experience in engaging with clients and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of technical software or background as a developer or engineer,Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning security & automation.
This role is based in Sheffield, Birmingham will also be considered
