Senior Technical Delivery Lead

We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Trade Delivery Lead.

You’ll bring deep knowledge of Accounting, Limits modules, and Straight-through processing, alongside strong hands-on capability in Java (Spring Boot), Databases and AI, to lead delivery of complex, high-impact technology outcomes within Trade Finance.

In this role you’ll:

• Lead delivery of complex trade technology initiatives with strong governance, execution discipline, and stakeholder alignment
• Identify and deliver AI-enabled enhancements that improve delivery efficiency and operational outcomes (e.g., intelligent triage, automation, knowledge retrieval, anomaly detection), aligned to business value
• Drive modernisation outcomes (process simplification, STP uplift, platform upgrades) while managing dependencies across systems and teams
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Java/Spring Boot services and database-backed solutions
• Apply deep knowledge of commercial trades to shape solution design and delivery outcomes
• Stay current on trade domain trends, regulatory expectations, and market practices to inform roadmap and delivery decisions

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong understanding of commercial trade products and processing, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical delivery outcomes
• Proven experience across end-to-end core trade transaction flows (initiation, validation, accounting/limits impacts, STP processing, exceptions and controls)
• Extensive hands-on experience delivering enterprise solutions using Java, with strong capability across backend services and data layers (APIs, integrations, databases), and experience leading engineering teams through design and implementation
• Experience building and operating Spring Boot services, with exposure to microservices patterns, CI/CD, automated testing, and production support practices
• Experience contributing to or delivering AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., automation, intelligent insights/triage, knowledge retrieval), including integrating AI components into applications with appropriate governance, controls, and quality measures
