We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Control Manager - Technology Regulatory Management.
In this senior leadership role, you’ll oversee two critical Technology Shared Services that are central to how we manage our obligations to regulators around the world.
You’ll act as the primary operational leader and global point of contact for these services, guiding how we engage with regulators on technology-related matters and shaping how regulatory expectations are understood across our organisation. Working closely with market teams, technology leaders, control owners, and risk and governance teams, you’ll own and define the process and standards we will adhere to and ensure successful service delivery across regions.
You’ll have the ability to bring structure, clarity, and leadership to a complex and dynamic regulatory landscape. You’ll also help steer the development of our regulatory engagement model, build capability across teams, and drive continuous improvement in how we manage regulatory information, evidence, and insights.

In this role you’ll:
• Lead our global technology regulatory management service, overseeing regulatory engagement, mapping, and client interactions
• Build and manage a globally distributed team (approx. thirty people), setting strategy, processes, and governance
• Develop and maintain an evidence catalogue to speed up responses to regulatory queries
• Advance regulatory mapping using AI tools for greater efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with risk and governance teams, advising on regulatory impact assessments and supporting policy/control changes
• Drive operational excellence by defining standards, frameworks, and decision rights across markets and domains
• Engage senior stakeholders, represent the function in governance forums, and provide insights from regulatory engagements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Proven experience in regulatory management or compliance within a global financial services environment
• Strong knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, and data risk controls
• Track record of managing regulatory interactions, including drafting and overseeing submissions
• Experience leading globally distributed teams and driving operational excellence
• Expertise in interpreting statutory texts, regulatory guidelines, and supervisory expectations
