The newly formed People, Governance and Communication team will consist of colleagues from HR, Corporate Governance and Secretariat, and Communications. Although these will remain distinct specialisms, bringing these teams together will enable joined up delivery of key activities across the bank.
The People Advisory role provides support to managers, employees and People Specialists with enquiries and case management handing off to the specialist areas where required. Primarily, they support the execution of the change project, advise and coach the business on all people related queries

In this role you will:
- Support people managers and employees in navigating the spectrum of People Services related to change with coaching and advice to help resolve queries.
- Relationship manage and co-ordinate support for enquiries that touch multiple areas of People, this may involve co-ordinating multiple People specialists to resolve issues, for managers and People colleagues
- Give support and encourage customer adoption of People Systems and tools.
- Support understanding of how People products and services are received to continuously improve the overall workforce experience by using case and knowledge management tools to identify trends in the questions and challenges colleagues have.
- Support the interpretation of policy and procedures and identify improvements to make People services and products (and the supporting policies and processes) even better for the workforce based on data from case and knowledge management tools
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience handling People/Employee Relations issues, that could be as a people manager supporting/leading People/ER investigations.
- Significant experience managing escalations and complaints, with the ability to problem solve and handle difficult conversations on sensitive matters professionally.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to understand complex situations and provide clear guidance and, where necessary, challenge to others.
- Experience in transformational change
- Previous experience of supporting employees going through restructuring and redeployment business change projects.
This role is based in Sheffield, Birmingham, Leeds, St Albans or Hamilton on a Hybrid basis.
