We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Group Responsible AI Senior Analyst.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Shape Responsible AI Strategy: Collaborate with the Group Responsible AI Product Lead and senior leadership to help define and deliver a roadmap for responsible and ethical AI adoption at scale.
  • Build Stakeholder Relationships: Partner with senior stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Technology, and business units to embed a culture of accountability, transparency, and alignment to HSBC’s AI strategy.
  • Enhance Risk Governance: Design, implement, and continuously improve governance processes that identify, assess, and mitigate AI-related risks in a complex, global organisation.
  • Optimise Processes: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency across the AI Use Case Lifecycle, streamlining policies, procedures, and controls while maintaining compliance and oversight.
  • Translate Requirements into Solutions: Gather Responsible AI requirements from diverse stakeholders and translate them into actionable, traceable solutions using HSBC’s AI Use Case Inventory and Lifecycle Management tools.



To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Stakeholder Management Expertise: Proven ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams within a large, matrixed organisation.
  • Governance & Risk Knowledge: Demonstrable experience designing and managing governance frameworks to mitigate risks in emerging technologies, ideally within financial services.
  • AI & Machine Learning Understanding: Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies, their risks and opportunities, and their regulatory context (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, data privacy).
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A track record of identifying, developing, and implementing improvements to processes, controls, and tools that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to navigate complex challenges and deliver actionable, outcome-oriented solutions.
