We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Event Management Specialist .
We are seeking an Event Management Specialist to support the ongoing improvement of our event management process. The role holder will work closely with the Event Management Process Owner to map existing workflows, analyse performance and identify opportunities for optimization. They will bring technical understanding of monitoring and alerting, along with strong collaboration skills to help ensure events and alerts are handled consistently and effectively across the organization

In this role you will:
• Ensure Event Management Processes are documented end to end, highlighting dependencies and improvement opportunities
• Gather data and feedback to assess adherence and quality of Monitoring and Event Management processes
• Recommend enhancements and support their implementation
• Work with IT operations, engineering and business units to ensure consistent adoption of the Event Management process
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions, workshops and training in support of process improvements
• Support the roll out of new tooling, procedures and practices
• Engage with Technical Design Leads and Engineering to ensure effective implementation of any process transformations
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Experience in Event Management, IT Operations, or a related discipline
• Understanding of monitoring and alerting tools and principles
• Skills in process mapping, workflow documentation, or business process improvement
• Experience with data analysis and gap analysis
• Experience working with ServiceNow reporting would be advantageous
This role is based in Sheffield .
