We’re one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, with a network that covers more than 50 countries and territories. We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join us in the role of Delivery Lead within our Private Bank and Wealth & Premier Solutions Change Execution team to help shape the next wave of strategic investment across our Investments and Managed Solutions Sub-Value Stream. You’ll lead complex, high-impact initiatives that improve client and colleague experiences across discretionary, funds, alternatives and ESG domains—working with global stakeholders to take ideas from business case through to delivery, release and measurable outcomes.

As an HSBC employee in the UK, you’ll have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

In this role you’ll:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple complex customer experience and platform initiatives, from initiation and design through to release and post-implementation review.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Process Designers, IT and Digital teams across geographies to produce delivery estimates, plans and execution roadmaps.
  • Define and embed the Agile delivery approach, enabling adaptive planning, continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes across delivery teams.
  • Build strong stakeholder alignment through clear governance, robust communications and effective workshop facilitation to drive timely decision-making.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies—removing blockers and ensuring delivery remains on track for time, cost and quality.
  • Support portfolio and investment planning activities, including business case inputs, and deputise for the Sub Value Stream Delivery Lead when required.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven delivery leadership across complex, multi-workstream change initiatives within financial services
  • Strong experience within Private Banking or Wealth Management environments, with a deep understanding of client interaction models, multi-channel journeys and digitally assisted advisory.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Agile methodologies and change execution best practices, with the ability to set standards and drive consistent ways of working.
  • Demonstrable expertise of Investment products is essential. Funds, Discretionary Investments, Alternative Investments & ESG specifically would be desirable
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to influence, build consensus and communicate complex topics clearly to varied audiences.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to operate at pace with changing priorities and incomplete information.
