We are currently seeking an experienced professional to lead the Authentication project in the role of Project Manager
The role is for an Authentication Lead Project Manager with significant experience in delivery projects into large organizations.
The successful candidate must have strong social skills across different mediums and be able to communicate a vision based on developing technology. The successful candidate will have a strong general technical background with hands on experience delivering IAM and infrastructure projects. The candidate should have experience leading a team, stakeholder management and to be an escalation point.

In this role you will:
- Lead a small team in overseeing and managing the deliverables of the Authentication project – covering MFA and CDS across the HSBC group.
- Work with business and technology owners to define and deliver scope and priorities.
- Provide supporting documentation, regular progress reports and risk and issue management.
- Establish effective working relationships across other areas of HSBC including Product Owners, IAM Stakeholders and IT teams.
- Take ownership of critical issues and ensures resolution within agreed timescales and implements mitigating plans against identified risks and issues.
- Manage the project budget, resources and timeline.
- Support PoC/Pilot testing and planning for rollout for new authentication patterns.
- Work with Architecture on production infrastructure design
- Present at stakeholder forums to provide updates on the project deliverables and achievements.
- Conduct reviews with service owners to complete/review technology assessments to determine suitable approach.
- Plan and support IAM Authentication implementation
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong Experience of Multi-Factor Authentication
- Experience of delivering significant change projects across technology, people and process
- Proven track record of working with technical, cybersecurity and operations teams and able to hold technical discussions
- Good understanding of IAM lifecycle, products and controls capabilities and requirements
- Experience managing a team to distribute workloads, track deliverables and support escalations
- Previous experience working with applications/platforms to adopt authentication protocols with an Identity Provider
This role is based in Sheffield.
