We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of Audit Manager, Data, AI and Group Functions Technology.
This is an opportunity for you to build your expertise in one of the fastest-evolving areas of audit, gaining exposure to Data, AI and Enterprise Technology across HSBC’s global environment. Working alongside experienced audit leaders, you’ll contribute to high-profile integrated audits, assess emerging technology risks and develop your knowledge of technology controls, governance and risk management. Whether you’re currently working in Technology Audit, Technology and Data Risk or related controls environment, this role offers a strong platform to broaden your experience and accelerate your development within Global Internal Audit.

In this role you’ll:
- Support the delivery of integrated technology audits across Data, AI and Enterprise Technology, assessing the effectiveness of key controls and governance frameworks
- Execute risk-based audit testing, including IT General Controls (ITGCs) and automated controls, identifying control weakness and opportunities to improvements
- Contribute to audit planning, fieldwork and reporting activities, providing clear and pragmatic insights to support audit outcomes
- Collaborate with audit colleagues and stakeholders to understand technology risks and support effective risk management practices
- Build your understanding of emerging technologies and their associated risks, helping to inform future audit coverage.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience of Technology Audit, Technology Risk, Controls Assurance or a related risk and control environment
- Knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs), technology controls and audit testing methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed timeline
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- An interest in emerging technologies, including Data and Artificial Intelligence, and the risk ad controls associated with them.
