We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Analytics Product Owner.
The UK Analytics & CRM team is part of the UK Customer team. The department is at the centre of excellence utilising data to drive insight, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, driving customer intelligence and marketing; using Machine learning to communicate the right message, to the right customer, at the right time, alongside driving revenue generating initiatives such as; pricing analytics, channel improvement and campaign effectiveness to name a few. The team actively handles a varied and dynamic range of business problems, using a data driven approach to solve, whilst managing communication effectiveness to maximise customer reach, the team is a critical pillar to driving sustainable growth. In this role you will:
- Consult with stakeholders to understand business needs, find quantitative solutions to business problems and communicate the results clearly to stakeholders.
- Prioritise backlogs and allocate work to analysts in line with their skillsets and career ambitions.
- Provide direction to analysts in analytical best practices and review analyst outputs to ensure it solves business problems and meets quality standards.
- Project manage analytical projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time
- Complete analysis on the following areas: consumer behaviour, segmentation, incentive delivery and marketing, delivering insight and proactively identifying opportunities to drive growth.
- The role is focussed on wealth acquisition and insurance; therefore, you will be leading complex analytical projects that could be supporting wealth or insurance
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- A proven track record of delivering data led products using: SAS or SQL, Cloud based databases, Excel, and visualisation tools (Looker, Qlik, or Tableau) to analyse large amounts of data, draw conclusions and drive actions (essential).
- An understanding of how machine learning can be applied to solve business problems and a track record of delivering machine learning products (essential).
- Previous experience working with senior and executive stakeholders to: understand business problems, identify creative ways to solve those problems with analytics solutions, communicate the insights, and commercialise the results (essential)
- Previous experience providing clear direction to analysts for projects and making sure that the outputs deliver business requirements (essential).
- A demonstrable background in analysing campaign performance and sizing audiences for campaigns.
- An understanding of UK data regulations; data privacy, processes and controls (essential).
- Experience of project management using Agile (essential)

This is a hybrid role which can be based in any of the following locations: Sheffield, Birmingham, Chester, Leeds or Whiteley.
