Principal responsibilities

• Be the IT Service Owner of several applications of the bank.
• Familiar with application support technology and process, work with both onshore and offshore engineering team, infrastructure team and security team to maintain a safe, stable and strong application set.
• Maintain and improve the engineering practice of the team.
• Lead the implementation of regulatory reporting technology solutions and drive for the application architecture build up.
• Supporting business initiatives without compromising standards of internal control such that operational risk is not increased beyond acceptable parameters. Ensuring business and management understand and accept any inherent risks.
• Be the partnership of business lines to understand their business aspirations, target and provide innovative solution.

Requirements

Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree or above in major of Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related fields.
• Knowledge on banking regulatory environment (NFRA, PBOC, SAFE etc) and software projects will be a strong advantage.
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) in both Mandarin and English.

Experience

• PMP or Alicloud related certifications are preferred.
• A track record of building, maintaining and improving application systems with sufficient knowledge on non-functional requirements.
• Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. as an IT application owner.
• Experience of IT project management, familiar with various project management methodology, e.g. SDLC, Agile, etc.
• Excellent track record of working on large complex project/programs, utilizing appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success.
• Must possess strong motivation to drive, progress and coach valued resources while ensuring a strong corporate ethic and accountability to senior management.
• Self-awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong team leadership and personnel management skills to motivate the team to achieve goals.
