Principal responsibilities

• Contribute in all phases of the project lifecycle
• Provide delivery advice with consideration of technical direction for the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of HSBC IT systems to business
• Assume the role of consulting in the web professional field, help the team solve technical problems, clear technical obstacles, and provide business with expert-level technical liberation solutions
• Lead the team to complete the delivery of project that is contribution to business values
• Make use of the cloud technologies to develop and migrate the lagecy systems into new generation of internet banking systems.
• Participate in Sprint planning and daily standup meeting for progress and status reporting;
• Lead techinical topics PoC and new technology introduction
• Collect engineering metrices for continuous improvement agenda

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

• Full-stack development skills on mordern front-end and API development.
• More than 8 years of front-end Web development experience, such as Angular, React, VUE, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, master the underlying operating mechanism and principles of the mainstream front-end framework
• Responsible for the end-to-end framework design and interface development, and complete the development according to the requirements document.
• Have JS/ES6 foundation, familiar with end-to-end development process, online and packaging mechanism. Experience in mobile and WeChat projects is preferred.
• Proficient in using packaging tools, such as web pack.
• Emphasis on the actual combat of the project and the ability to solve problems
• Able to work in an English-speaking environment, with good reading and writing English skills and simple listening and speaking skills
• Good overall quality, strong initiative, good team player.
• Engineering mindset and problem solving ability
• Good sense of emerging technologies in the market
