We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
- Focus on Premier/Premier Elite Segment Marketing (80%)
--Responsible for marketing creative development and branding for Premier/Premier Elite, and create highly compelling and easy to understand creatives, spanning branding, proposition storytelling, campaign storytelling, deploying different creative approaches to effectively communicate our offer in the most attractive manner, and as a result increase awareness, consideration and conversion
--Understanding of target audience in Premier/Premier Elite, including client needs, pain points, objections to have sufficient insight to create meaningful impactful creative direction
--Partner closely with Proposition team to have a deep understanding of Premier/Premier Elite offerings, differentiators and hero offerings
--Understand competitor creative positioning to ensure HSBC can develop a creative positioning that is differentiated and more attractive than competitors
- Research & Insights (20%)
--Lead the generation of actionable customer insights that help solving WPB business and marketing challenges through integrating external research findings, internal customer data, desk research with analytical methodology to enable customer-centric decision making
--Be able to execute a wide range of insights techniques to support business research needs, external benchmarking, brand assessment, exploratory research, social analyses to digital experience and able to recommend and steer research approach to obtain desired business outcomes.
--Design, deliver, implement and communicate customer insight and research for pre-design and during design phases, in a rapid agile manner
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- University level education, preferably with over 7 years of experience in marketing, business or a related discipline
- Strong competency proposition design, insights, digital and marketing preferably with experience in the affluent client segment
- Good understanding of the finance industry and consumer behavior in mainland China
- Customer-focused; results-oriented; ability to deliver within deadlines
- Ability to deliver senior management-ready materials
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibly when managing shifting or competing priorities
- Energetic, positive attitude and team player
- Written and verbal fluency in both English and Mandarin
