The International Wealth and Premier Banking Chief Operating Office supports the business to deliver exceptional customer journeys and increase efficiency across our global network. We support the business through effective governance, financial and risk management, transformation, and operational management, ensuring that all International Wealth and Premier Banking business units and markets have the right capabilities and procedures to compete effectively and grow safely. We work in an agile manner and at pace, partnering with teams in Technology and Digital Business Services to bring innovative, digital-first solutions to our customers. 

 

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Ensuring the team meet targets on productivity and accuracy within the time frame and no SLA breach case occurred
  • Ensuring customer instructions/requests are correctly interpreted and fully undertaken. The work is processed in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations stipulated by bank and regulatory
  • Planning and prioritize jobs to subordinates in accordance with their abilities and experience to ensure fraud/error/irregular case can be identified and escaped timely
  • Making effective use of available resources to ensure smooth operation and no backlog.
  • To supervise the daily operation of Wealth Management products of QDII/Trust/Local UT.
  • Assisting  supervisor to identify training needs for team members; arrange internal training by job rotation and craoss team attachment; coach junior staff on day-to-day operational basis.
  • Arranging periodically reviewing of the relevant procedural to adjust operation steps timely
  • Setting successor plan with team to ensure team work smooth running
  • Ensuring all data requirements (timesheets, leave requests, absence requests and ad hoc process information) of team are completed and updated in a timely manner.

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Has 1-3 years relevant working experience
  • Abundant knowledge on banking operations and compliance/regulations
  • Skill to encourage team morale so as to cope with the high business volume within tight time pressure
  • English both in oral and writing
  • Good communication skill and problem solving skill
  • Supervising and working with a large team of different experience levels
  • Handle multiple/complex customer instruction within limited time-frame
  • Motivating subordinates to achieve high service standard and productivity
  • Working under pressure with limited resources.
  • Certificate of fund qualification exam
