We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

 

In this role, you will: 

Responsible for digital marketing & online lead acquisition, retail media campaign management, private bank media campaign management, 3rd-party vendor management and internal risk & compliance control.
Including:

1) Digital marketing and acquisition on WeChat, Red and other highly relevant channels, including
- Developing digital marketing strategy and acquisition plan according to business priority and growth target
- Design smooth user experience and CTA journey for better efficiency
- Carry out operation and close monitoring for optimization
- Internal stakeholder communication and external media channel and media agency management
- Risk management throughout the acquisition process

2) Retail marketing and social influencer collaboration
- Communication strategy development and media plan for retail marketing activities
- Content planning and carry out operation with agency support, integrating business priority and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with social influencers and local media for better TA coverage and campaign impact
- Working with internal content team, risk 2nd line of defense team to ensure consistency and compliance in HSBC’s social influence procedure and regulatory policy.

3) Private Bank media campaign management and global marketing campaign deployment.
- Deep understanding of target audience and professional research on media industrial trend with agency support.
- Develop media strategy & planning according to business and overall marcom cadence, cooperating with internal stakeholders
- With integrated media selection and buying method to deliver KPI, including but not limited to industry media, OOH, digital media, social media, search engine, programmatic buy, CPL/CPA model;
- Setup campaign journey and monitoring execution performance and adjust in process with Data & Analytics support.
- Working with risk 2nd line of defense and procurement team to ensure consistency and compliance in HSBC’s marketing governance and regulatory policy.

4) Third party management and risk control according to local regulatory and law requirements, related internal procedure.
- Proactive Risk Management and Ownership: Maintain effective processes and controls to proactively identify and appropriately control risks that are accountable for and escalate material concerns in a timely manner.
- Risk Culture: Demonstrate and promote a positive risk culture aligned with HSBC’s Values and good customer outcomes.
- Adherence to Regulatory Standards and Laws: Ensure compliance with relevant internal policies, laws, regulatory rules, guidance, and expectations.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in marketing, communication or related major.
  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience with a minimum of 3 years in digital marketing and media planning role.
  • Solid knowledge in China media and social environment. Preferred working experience in international financial and luxury industry, with real hands-on marketing practices.
  • Business acumen-understands the business to drive effective media strategies
  • Strategic thinking, who understands business objectives and can translate it into integrated marcom planning.
  • Proactive Risk Management and Ownership
  • Result-driven and reliable person who can propose actionable plans and drive end-to-end execution. 
  • Creative, out of the box thinker who can push the boundary of status quo.
  • Tech savvy, who is always willing to explore new technologies and possibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
