We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the team to improve service standards
  • Maintain and develop relationships with regulators and industry participants
  • Solve client issues and maintain client goodwill
  • Develop and motivate staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of staff as well as continuity of corporate action team
  • Assist in fostering continuous growth on the staff knowledge and to improve capacity. 
  • Ensures efficient and error-free operations of the team
  • Ensures safe custody of all securities under the custody of HSS
  • Improves standard of service and operations efficiency
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, global standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.
 
Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Good command in English. 
  • Passed Securities Association of China examinations of securities fundamental and trading.
  • Have supervisory experience in the custodian bank or securities industry, and be familiar with the QFII/RQFII business and have broad knowledge of corporate action process of A/B-share, CIBM markets. 
  • Able to work independently under pressure. 
  • Be competent professionally to apply market/regulatory requirements into bank procedures that are smoothly workable in the day-to-day process. 
  • Be able to receive changes with strong leadership. 
  • Excellent communication skill.
