We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

 

In this role, you will:

•    The role holder is responsible for supporting the Head of CCM ( Credit & Capital Management  ) Product & Design on development and delivery of the overall lending product strategy. 
•    This includes design, initiatives and ongoing management of CCM lending products and processes aligned to propositions, segmentation and participation models.
•    The holder must anticipate future market conditions in a changing context (incl. pricing, risk, regulatory and customer insight); and drive product performance within this context. The role holder will lead the definition of CCM's target state process architecture and operating model, and will provide direct design support to delivery teams and help directly drive tangible user outcomes
•    The role holder will drive the global strategy, development, management, oversight and governance of CCM products  
•    The role holder will support implementation of a consistent Target Operating Model (TOM), as well as the development of business tracking / performance metrics e.g., portfolio analytics, pricing tools etc.   
•    The role holder will support local product initiatives and government schemes where relevant. 
•    The role holder will contribute to the performance of the lending product including the lending risk indicators and monitoring activities. 
•    The role holder will support wider Credit & Lending stakeholders in the submission of new processes and products to the CCM Design Authority.
•    The role holder will support business strategy & objectives including growing revenue, ROTE and profitability in a fast-changing environment.

•    Support the team by quickly familiarising stakeholders with our purpose and expectations and working with them effectively to deliver strategic outcomes.
•    Support leadership in communication of strategic direction across global, regional and country structures.
•    Support and encourage constructive cross-country, cross function, and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and taking prompt action to address any activities and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and / or the best interests of the business and its customers.

Customers & Stakeholders
Primary customers are:
•    Wider CCM functional and delivery teams 
•    Group Functional Teams – e.g. Risk, Group Finance, IT
•    Operational support teams 
•    Group & Regional teams
•    Risk Steward sub-functions in both 1st & 2nd Line of Defence
Other stakeholders on projects will include (as demanded by specific project need):
•    Regulatory authorities 
•    Service delivery functions
•    Data service providers
•    Software, data and service vendors

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

•    Strong Credit and Lending experience
•    Ability to effectively build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. 
•    Ability to identify and manage complex requirement.
•    Ability to drive and delivery products with competing priorities, ensure timely delivery of objectives.
•    Advanced analytical skills with a focus on strategic decision-making, backed by high degree of attention to detail.
•    Experience in driving cross-functional teams' collaboration and achieve objectives. 
•    Evidence of self-development across a number of disciplines
