We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as key finance team member on CAS25 project, participate in controlling the build, relevant testing and deployment activities under CAS 25.
  • Support to set-up and maintain a robust financial monitoring control mechanism over process and ensure all general ledger balance sheets accounts are properly reconciled and substantiated under CAS25 base.
  • Establish and streamline the closing/reporting process after CAS25 go live
  • Maintain the integrity accuracy of policy accounting records. Ensure accounting practice in comply with both accounting policy.
  • Ensure the financial records are in consistent with business information stored in the business system
  • Provide oversight on all technical accounting (insurance policy related) development and ensure the company is taking appropriate steps to follow the required changes.
  • Update or design the procedure and the accounting policy (insurance policy related) when new system/new branch/new product launch and new project set up.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing on new products launch, business system updates etc.
  • Engage with external and internal auditors to ensure the audit works are carry out in a professional manner.
  • Support the regulatory reporting team on the ad-hoc task.
  • Any other work assigned by Line Manager.

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor ‘s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Audit areas;
  • CICPA qualification or equivalent is preferred, IFRS 17/CAS 25 familiarity is a plus;
  • 3-5 years insurance experience, especially in insurance policy accounting related;
  • Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English (written and spoken);
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and effective problem solver;
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
