Assistant Fund Services Manager

Within CIB, Securities Services provides robust and reliable solutions that help clients mitigate risk and enhance their business performance. Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments, and multinational corporations, this team covers fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services. 

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• Supervise cash payment and settlement processing

• Timely and accurately open account with depositories and other external parties for settlement purposes
• Timely and accurately perform Clearing participant settlement, CSDCC/CIBM Trade Settlement, cash payment, 3rd party deposit, FX placing and settlement, FX quota monitoring and reporting.

• Operation process maintenance and control
• Support and implement ad-hoc projects
• Initiate process improvements
• Delivery of accurate and timely reports to Clients
• Handle client enquiries and facilitate business solutions for clients
• Attend, where necessary, client meetings, new business meetings and investor due diligence meetings
• Good team player
• Supervise a team of staff 
• Address performance issue of the staff

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• More than 5 years of practical experience in local fund custody, clearing and settlement operations.
• Good command of payment and settlement, including the end-to-end payment and Clearing participant model, Safe custody of certificates of deposit (CD).
• Sound knowledge on various payment channels
• Hands on experience on system enhancement and UAT testing
• Hands on experience on settlement and clearing for cash and securities, for both stock exchange and CIBM transactions
• Hands-on experience on FCY/CNY cross border payment
• Hands on experience on regulatory reporting for FCY/CNY cross border payment and FX settlement
• Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills to deal with stakeholders
• Sound problem solving skills and client focused
• Lateral thinking and innovative
• Solid change management experience and proactive to drive change and improvement
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High integrity and professionalism
• Good written and oral English
• AMAC Fund Practitioner Qualification (AMAC 基金从业人员资格考试合格证) for Mutual fund and fundamental exams.
